Patricia Odom, BScPT, is from Canada and studied physical therapy at the University of Toronto, where she graduated in 1998. She spent her first four years working in a busy outpatient hospital-based clinic in Toronto, where she specialized in the treatment of post-surgical joint rehabilitation, post-surgical orthopedic rehabilitation, and post-fracture management. She moved to the United States in 2002 and has worked in Virginia, Massachusetts, and Maryland, in both hospital and clinic settings. Her post-graduate clinical education includes training in advanced orthopedic manual therapy courses, spinal stabilization, balance, and functional training and rehabilitation exercises. She has served as the lead therapist in a multidisciplinary chronic pain program and has also served as a clinical instructor for physical therapy students in Toronto and Boston. She advocates for living a healthy lifestyle through diet, exercise, and the practice of yoga.
